Health and Education Indicators Updated

2005 data on student performance in Western New York reveal mixed results. Findings are reviewed in three indicator updates: 4.3 Student Performance - Elementary, 4.4 Student Performance - Middle School, and 4.5 Student Performance High School.

Updates for Health indicators include findings of elevated asthma rates in the region (6.3 Asthma), an increase in medically diagnosed rates of depression and anxiety (6.8 Mental Health), and elevated numbers of obese and overweight Western New Yorkers (6.6 Overweight and Obesity).
