State of the Region Updates Include Indicators for Environment and Health

The latest round of State of the Region updates includes findings on air pollution (2.1 Air Quality) and lead poisoning (2.11 Lead Exposure in Children) in the Environment topic area. New data also reveal smoking levels in Western New York declined between 1997 and 2003, but are still higher than statewide and national levels.

Other updates include: 3.8 Property Revaluation (Government) and 6.7 Smoking Prevalence (Health).
