Regional Institute Director Kathryn A. Foster will serve as co-investigator for the Network on Building Resilient Regions, a major research initiative funded by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. The network will explore regional resilience, or the capacity for regions to make short-term decisions that yield long-term success, and how a region's culture, policies, institutions and governance strategies contribute to such resilience. The Regional Institute itself will provide additional research and administrative support to the project.
