The Regional Institute partnered with the Buffalo Niagara Partnership and Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Buffalo Branch, to host the presentation of "Vital Center: A Federal-State Compact to Renew the Great Lakes Region," a report by John Austin, non-resident fellow of the Brookings Institution. The presentation, which took place at the Buffalo Niagara Partnership and was attended by leaders of the Buffalo Niagara region, presented new data and thoughtful strategies for economic prosperity through a multi-state and national policy agenda for the Great Lakes Region.
