The sixth annual UB Community Forum, "Knowing Your Neighborhood: Using Information to Preserve Quality of Life," was presented by the University at Buffalo Office of Community Relations, with the Regional Institute and other UB units as partners. The forum focused on quality-of-life issues for the University Heights neighborhood surrounding the UB South Campus. Participants learned of university and other resources available for accessing neighborhood data on land use, property conditions and demographics. Other UB forum partners were the UB Center for Urban Studies, UB Office of Student Affairs, Gloria J. Parks Community Center, office of Buffalo Common Councilmember Bonnie Russell and the University Heights Collaborative.
